Sorry--this one is a flat-out dud. Not even Mike and the Bots' jokes could salvage this one.
K A Miller - 11/08/2008 5 of 5 Stars!
When Crow sang that snippet of not-quite "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald," I nearly split apart. I still get the giggles. I never saw this first time around; I had no idea (re the movie art special feature) that Gorgo had his own comic-book (grafik-novel) and ever'thing! Just high-larious. Generally, MST3K means "don't watch while drinking root beer, or it *will* come out your nose." And this British take on the Japanese monst-opoly is no exception. I'll be rewatching it for a loooong time. Nine out of 5 stars.
Togoshi Shikenoku - 07/29/2008 4 of 5 Stars!
The beginning of this film is pretty good, with all the Irish Riffing going on, but the hilarity really ensues when they take Gorgo to the "Dorkens Amusement Park" "Hey everybody come witness the great Gorgo, he'll eat your whole family alive!" Very Funny. Highly Recommended.
Chad Fogus - 03/04/2008 5 of 5 Stars!
Again, a very solid VHS to DVD transfer. This is one of those episodes I've been searching years for; to find some kind of balanced consistency with the video and audio track. Every copy I've bought over the years has had either great video quality with bad audio, or vice versa. It's been frustrating to say the least, as I really like this episode a lot. I can say now with 100% certainty that this fan copy of 909 is the best you will find anywhere on the web. Congratulations to Michael Slusher and Lee Lovingood for a great digital mastering job of the source tape. The only better quality we'll see of this episode is if SHOUT! Factory wins the movie rights to release it publicly (I wish them all the luck in the world; I can't see them having any more luck with movie companies when trying to obtain rights than Rhino did). Pick this up with no reservations, as this has my highest recommendation to fans of MST3K who are searching for quality copies to complete their collections.

Very funny episode! Excellent dvd transfer quality. MSTies should definitely check this one out. "I didn't realize elephants exploded on impact."
